Who is tracking debit order status?

Does anyone know, which ITC tracks debit order statuses?

I'm asking because sometimes I get my salary at different dates (self-employed). This means I've had debit orders fail, but I usually pay them within 5 days of it failing. I've checked Experian, TransUnion and Clearscore and my credit-rating is good on both. However I tried applying for finance with Wesbank today and it was declined saying I have too many failed debit orders.

What is tracking that since If I view a breakdown of my credit-score nothing about debit-orders appears? I'm wondering if anyone here in the know could give me some info. Additionally the ITC's websites tell you how long stuff is tracked for like missed payments, debts etc but nothing is mentioned about how far in advance they're tracking failed debit orders?

Thx.

So incase anyone is wondering I can answer my own question now.
If your finance house is also your bank (i.e Wesbank/FNB) they can automatically check your statements for failed debit-orders and income recurrance in order to understand your payment profile.

Thats why if an FNB client applies with MFC for example they want 3 months Bank statement as then they manually check for failed debit orders. Its not an indication of credit-rating per se but whether or not you are reliable at paying accounts.

It won't show on an ITC report because if you DO pay the account, they will not score you negatively for that account, but the lender is still concerned that you may be paying late and/or failed debit orders on your statement could be an indication of a bigger financial problem, rather than just "I get paid at random times".
