I love cooking!!! If I have time I like to try something new with my wife. You just teach yourself, once you have the fundamentals you begin to know what goes well together, which herbs and spices are which etc. It's just a progressive learning.

Cooking is easy but takes practice. Buy a decent cook book and try a few different recipes. After a while you start getting a feeling for what goes with what. When you get to that point you can start experimenting which is when things get fun.

Also avoid microwave cooking. It's very difficult to cook decent food in them becauseof the uneven way they heat food.

so true.... my brothers and i used to bake cakes, donuts, you nam it. we would just read recipes and we would do it. the first few times the cakes came out really bad:D, but as time went along we succeed. :D

if you want to know how to cook then you have to drop the "i can't cook" attitude...

And the flatty covers, eh Mila? Get yourself a Sirius Cybernetics Corporation Nutri-matic. It reads your metabolism and taste buds and then produces whatever dish is perfect for you.

Learnt to cook by experimentation mostly. I do a really mean chicken stirfry, with chicken and alles.

Did the egg-in-the-microwave in highschool, except the egg came out quite whole and looked cooked after I peeled it. But when I pushed the spoon against the thing, it went boom. Rude little shock :(

Our kettle broke, so I tried to boil a mug of water, by putting it on the stoveplate (that ended badly too). I thought Contuff made incredible heat-resistant glass, ok.
