I'd go OG Orange (Brandon is looking more orange than Trump ever has these days)

I'd like to have seen Tulsi as VP or even RFK/Rand Paul

There's no way Biden will be the nominee for the Democrats. Unfortunately whoever replaces him on the ticket has no chance after that assassination attempt and that iconic photograph.

I'd vote for the Dems but Biden is too old IMHO. If I were an American Democrat I'd want another candidate to represent that party.

Other. President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Camacho is my only US president.

Donald J. Trump is the greatest President of our generation.

Most South Africans will laugh at my comment but don't understand a lick about Politics but THINK they do.

He's ALREADY been President and did very well until China and the Democrat party used the fake COVID pandemic to diminish his efforts. He's also the ONLY US President in human history to actually have Executive Orders that targeted Black people to help them succeed. Obama didn't do any of that. Obama actually mocked HBCU's (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) when they wanted funding during his Administration. Trump secured funding for a long time. He was giving out business loans to people of colour or low earners in disadvantaged neighbourhoods. He was even trying to decrease medical costs, e.g. Insulin; he even changed Obama Care's policies that negatively targeted the Middle Class. Joe Biden stopped all of Trump's Executive Orders on his very first day. And it's obvious he's not running the country. I suspect it's Obama or his cohorts. Trump did way too much and did a great job. Jobs were booming, illegals were getting deported, petrol was cheap, etc, etc. Turns out Trump was right about everything.

What most South Africans don't understand is if we ACTUALLY had a great President, who is genuinely on OUR side, they'd treat him exactly how they treat Trump. ANC will use all captured SOE's like News24, SABC (TV and radio)(and they'll have back to back negative coverage to spread lies 24/7), they'd use SAPS, the military, Electricity. They'd sabotage all efforts of a new President and destabilise the country.

But, eyyyyyyy, he's the bad guy, huh? Lol.

Bill Maher gives a great look at all the other blue candidates that could take over Biden:

Bill Maher has been playing the centrist game since Trump was President and he's intellectually disingenuous. He knows Trump is the better candidate but will still vote Blue no matter what. He said it himself. That's why he's suggesting other candidates knowing very well that those candidates won't stand against Trump. I mean if Vivek Ramaswamy was a Democrat he'd make him the top candidate but Vivek is too young. Give him 10 years and he'll be a great contender.

Trump - it's always fun watching folks ree. I could do with another good few years of it

Having said that anyone over 60 should be barred from running for office
Having a young President ruling any nation throughout human history has always been a bad idea. Wisdom comes with age. Just because Biden is senile doesn't mean Trump is. Trump is cognitively intact and always has been. He's a very smart guy.

I'm heavily Right-Wing but even I think that Trump is not suited for the leadership of the USA. He and Biden are 2 sides of the same coin.

Like my dad says, "Whether the tiger or the lion wins doesn't matter, the sheep always get ****ed after that"

I'd take Ramaphosa over both of them but if I had to chose: Trump.

I don't think he is centrist or disingenuous, I think he just trying to pull the direction of his parties politics back from the extreme.
If you listen to him - which I do, he really hates Trump and would vote for a comatosed Biden over Trump. What he does realise is that people are losing faith in Biden and non-partisan fence sitters are looking right.

In the Democratic party there are several different types of voters:
  • Progressive, like the direction the party is going, don't care about the leader, will vote blue no matter what.
  • People who like Biden and his policies, don't care about his age and will also just vote blue
  • People who are Partisain but have chosen Democrat because they just don't like the current republican candidate.
  • Right leaning Democrats who don't like the current direction of the party BUT still hold progressive values. Won't vote for a right wing party unless that parties values shifted.
I think Maher fits in to the last category. He doesn't like Trump, he just sees that others are being pulled always from the party because of Biden.
Maher plays the neutrality card quite well so he gets both sides coming on his show, he is critical of the left, only because he wan't to change his own party.

The video I posted above is the strongest position I have seen anyone on the left take, he is trying to solve a problem.
Blue people vote blue, Red people vote red, its the middle that make the difference.

The middle wont vote for a senile old man just because he isn't Trump.
