I'll take a PS3, and I will only need 2 games, Gran Turismo 5 and 6, and a state of the art racing setup . A bargain compared to buying a real sports car. I seriously doubt that the games will retail for R1000, $100 = R800 max at the moment not R1000 . PS3 will have Gran Turismo, and my PC will take care of the rest .

Seriously, I'll wait till all the consoles are out, and a list of game titles comes out. Lets remember the N64, technically better than the PS1, but quite simply it didnt have the game titles to back it up. Next Gen Metal Gear Solid and Gran Turismo, can't wait

Well...PSP games retail for about $35. It's sold here for R450 at the major stores. I bought my original Tomb raider legend for R230 in Asia. Now $100 can easily mean R1000 for PS3 games. Remember we live in SA where we get swindled for everything.

Saw an article on T3 about the mini xbox (competitition to psp) and if it's ture, I must say it looks really impressive.

Rumours today are that it's targeted more at the iPod than the PSP, and it may (disclaimer again, note the use of the word may idicates that this is not quoted fact but indeed rumour brought to me by extremely intelligent genetically enhanced marsupials) be out before Xmas, supporting WiFi.

Even if it is more iPod, if they slap on some XBLA type games, it'd rock!
