So here's my question... Are skinny jeans a fashion statement you, providing you're a man, make for yourself or does your SO choose them for you?
For the life of me I cannot understand why a man would buy them. If you're a teenage hipster, emo, skate rat and you need the ankles of your jeans tight to keep them falling right off, not just past your ass, perhaps... Although you probably have bigger issues than skinny jeans in that situation anyway. Do I need to know you inherited your mother's tiny ankles? Do I need to see all of your designer shoes including the laces? No. Why would you do this to yourself? Why?
I have to add I'm also over every pretty woman I see ruining everything by wearing them... Next time your SO asks if those jeans make her ass look big, point out that a fashion item that makes one end look like the point of a needle and the other end look like, well, her ass, makes that question rhetorical.
Mini rant over and back to the question... Who is actually buying these April fool's clown pants? If it's you, why, sweet lord why? If it isn't, isn't the fight and sulk when you say "NO!" worth having, just so you can hold onto you dignity?
