When my contract phone was converted to prepaid after the contract terminated it was switched off from the LTE network and has not connected to it since. Another VAS?

On Vodacom it is listed as a "VAS", but @ R0.00 PM. I have seen often people complaining that when they do a contract - prepaid conversion on Vodacom that their LTE stops working. Just go into the store and ask them to completely remove LTE and submit. Once it has gone through, they need to go back and re-activate it and do a network sync.

Is this still a thing? What is the cost?
Yup, just found out about this last week. Couldn't understand why I could not see who is calling me even when its my own contacts on my phone, or having the ability to phone them back. Went in to Vodacom to find out about this. Its fairly cheap. It says R9.99 on my bill this month.

Of course its still a thing, the Operators aren't going to be generous and miss out on a few million additional revenue each month for ticking a flag on their system.

It is to add to the already SINFUL profits these corporate capitalists accumulate.

Poor voiceless masses don't stand a chance to look for alternatives -
they've monopolised 'em all
