Why do cops like to speedtrap at the same place every day?

Yeah and that's working very well isn't it...
Even in the first world speed cameras are nothing more than a money maker and do very little to lower average speeds.
I don’t agree with you. Will you continue to exceed the speed limit after you received a fine?

Those cameras are just like the permanent ones. I know all the spots where the cameras are on my commonly used routes so I just slow down when approaching said spot, then speed up again. Also the GPS in the old man's car get's updated with speed trap locations so it beeps if you are over the speed limit when approaching one.

If the cops could trap anywhere that would definitely reduce average speeds.

They don't seem to think so. N14 between Jean Ave and Eeufeesweg- they like hiding under the bridges behind the pillars. Same thing on the old DF Malan (forgot the new name)- under a bridge, behind the pillars.

Yes I have also noticed that they are often hiding behind the pillars almost every day at the same spot

They do love their bridges. Gotta pay the troll toll.
