I am a Loyal Vox client. Why do existing customers get charged more than new customers? I pay R678.06 for my Vox ADSL. Their website advertises the same deal for R629. This is not the way to keep customers!:confused:

They will end up paying the same as you after a year or so.

That's a marketing trick to gain new customers.

Someone else brought this up earlier as well.

Totally agree that they're basically working to slowly drive away old customers. Is the extra money they're getting now really worth the customers they're potentially going to lose in the long term?

The scariest part is, not even contract customers are safe from their price hikes. So technically speaking, if you're locked into a Vox contract, they could double your monthly fee, and you'd still be obligated to pay for the contract duration.

Here's an excellent example from Hellopeter:

Vox's response:

Good day Jacobus

Kindly note that our Consumer Accounts Department has been in contact with you.

The contract that you have signed in November 2016 for the services provided by us, is a 24 month contract. However this is not a fixed rate contract as explained on the email sent to you.

You have also been informed of your new monthly installment.

Kind Regards,

Vox Telecom
