Why do people complain about load shedding

I complain because me and my kids must suffer and we did not vote these clowns in who keep passing the blame rather than actually concentrate on fixing the issues

If you hire a plumber to fix your toilet and he ends up making it worse you complain or switch to another plumber . Eskom is no different except for the fact they are our only practical provider , they offer a service and if they don't deliver you complain because we can't switch to another provider without having to sell off our kids.

I agree, load shedding is annoying. We wake up, get load shedding, and get annoyed. We go home, and sit in traffic due to load shedding. Then we start complaining and shouting. What did all the complaining and shouting accomplish?

Yeah, I wish all the poor people living in shacks will also just stfu and stop complaining about lack of service delivery. F them, they must just accept their lot quietly.


Also when the water board one day warns us there is only 50% of the water left in this country against what is required for the masses we should all just shut the f up and die quietly.

People should just ignore the costs being incurred by businesses, costs that WILL be passed on to their clients, people should just ignore costs they are incurring directly.

People should just be happy that Eskom and the Energy Minister have the situation fully under control and will fix the situation within the next 100 years.

All of the above are things that we should just accept and not complain about.

As paying customers, we literally shouldn't have to lift a finger: we pay an exorbitant amount for electricity in this country, so the onus lies on the provider to fix all the problems, at no additional cost to its clients.

Because people like to do the easy thing and that is complaining. We are great keyboard warriors, great mouth flappers, but we keep on failing ourselves. But hey its just one more election and where are there right?
