Why does South Africa set such low standards for everything?

Yeah, I understand that. I thought I'd first complete my site (like a Beta release maybe) and then save a bit of money so that I could relocate there. And then I'd form the company and create a physical presence there, rather than here.

edit: also, there are local incubator programs you could join. I'm not sure if you're still studying, but most universities have some sort of entrepreneur/startup program .

But contact people, BOTHER them, if you see your application can be used by them. Throw out your nets and try; the worst thing that can happen is them saying "no".

Wow, your ignorant. You really think South Africa is no platform for the global market. Cape Town has many startups that have changed the web world. I've had the pleasure to work with the best in the industry and these guys are all still in Cape Town.

@OP I'm studying a BSc so that I can easily leave this country if I want to. I support emmigration and migration as without it, I would not be a proud African as my forefathers would never left the UK and Netherlands.
