With all the negative threads, thought I'd create a positive one!

Ok, here goes :

I really like the blue and green lights on my iburst laptop modem - it looks funky when you switch off the lights at night and you see the green light flickering!

I like how it flashes green for 5s then goes red for 3s. Reminds me of Christmas...

Thats the one I'm talking about, the one with the white cover that looks like it's been glued onto the cd...

You're lucky, I only got a modem, PSU and the cables for USB and nic.
No disks or any other info besides my username and pwd.

I like the fact that you know you are using iBurst cause every 5 minutes a little window comes up stating that iBurst has disconnected and is redialing to reconnect.

Pure luxury. I received an incorrect username & pwd. I had to spend 20min waiting for an answer and 20 mins connected to the helpdesk to sort that out. I also received a CD-ROM disk that was totally unreadable. I had to drive to friend to get the drivers.

Yeah you're right as I also was supplied with the incorrect username & pwd.

Also had to wait +_20min for them to answer the phone, and about 30min to get the correct logon info.

I still had my leaseline so I downloaded the drivers.
That connection might have been slow but in 8yrs I only had to call the ISP 4 times to reset the modem on their side. :p
