Why is it that carmakers who make trucks never make bikes?

Think about all the car companies that make trucks, like Mercedes, VW, Volvo, Renault. None of them make motor bikes. And then all the car companies that make bikes, like BMW, Honda, Suzuki, none of them make trucks.

Why is this?

Technically VW makes both trucks (through 100% ownership of Scania and 75% ownership of MAN SE) and bikes (100% of ownership of Ducati).
