I'm guessing our ancestors weren't eating meat 2 / 3 times a day 7 days a week like a lot of SA'icans do. I don't think these 'meat free mondays' movements etc. were to create vegetarians, but rather to cut down on the amount of meat consumption and suffering we impose on the animals we farm.

Another fact I have to remind vegasaurus type people of is that eating meat does not always mean that animal farming has been supported.

I just don't understand why some people get so upset about what other people do with their lives. Do whatever works for you, it's none of my business.

Because if someone believes the suffering we impose on animals with our factory farming is unethical, it kinda makes sense that they'd be concerned about the suffering imposed by the industry. Not saying I agree or disagree with it, but clearly there's a perspective that at least makes some sense when you consider it. It's not you 'doing something with your life', it's you imposing some **** on the lives of animals too.
