Why seeing movie or TV spoilers isn’t actually that bad

Over the past few years, several studies have tested the effects of spoilers on people’s enjoyment of stories. Their findings might change the way you react the next time a plot is inadvertently leaked to you.

What's even worse: this penchant that blew over from the USA to show excerpts from the whole show before the starting credits AND to repeat the whole last minute just BEFORE the ad break, immediately after the ad break. ( hope that makes sense)

It is frustrating as fuk and I tend to just FF until the show actually starts as I hate having absolutely no surprises during any episodes of any show, be it Ray Donovan or Master Chef...

It is obviously aimed at dumb people with no attention span, aka USA audiences.
