Why should I pay cash handling fee's?

I see someone deposited money into my account and I'm charged R90.00

Why should I have to pay because someone else chooses to pay cash? :/

It is the normal procedure, which sucks. Someone owes me money, and keeps saying I can take the cash, or they'll go to the bank to deposit it, don't get why people can't just EFT.

But nobody is going to want to pay into your account if hey have to pay extra so then you are going to end up with the cash in any case....

Not a bad idea if you want to put money away that the tax man does not need to know about....

WHat bank is the culprit? I heard Capitec only charges a flat rate fro deposits. AND withdrawals!

Its called a cash deposit fee and most banks charge this
