Why you don't really have free will

Your reasoning makes no sense.
The rape victim did not choose to be raped - it the rapist that chose to rape.

If there is no such thing as free will, the rapist did nothing wrong.
Why would a loving god allow rape? Anyway, we're digressing from the main topic.

So he chose (had free will) to rape, and had the choice (had free will) not to rape?
No, check the link, he chose but the choice wasn't his. There's a distinction to be made between x and free x. Choice and free choice. The agent, like you and I, are always deciding and thinking and weighing up options, but our will to do so, isn't free.

Can you not see the contradiction?
He chose (had free will) but he did not choose (had no free will)?

He made a decision, but it wasn't a free decision. He had no choice but to make that decision. Just to be sure here, there might be some confusion as to what you think free will means or what it is, so what is you definition of free will?

You earlier stated that the rapist had the choice (free will) not to rape.
Now you are stating that the rapist had no choice (no free will) not to rape.
You on some or other heavy medication?

You have a choice. You have no free choice.

The ability to make decisions. What Prawn said is contradictory and stupid.
Congratulations. You can now make decisions, but you still can't make free decisions.

Umm, I've said it before - I have not proffered an opinion one way or another in this thread about free will.

I am waiting on @Ponderer 's definition of free will.
Non of that really matters to me. Not that anything can matter, because that would require free will.

I'm just here shîtposting, I can't help it.
