Orca Wireless Overberg region - specifically De Kelders, Gansbaai

International

Download Speed: 2273 kbps (284.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 320 kbps (40 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 186 ms

Local
Download Speed: 3369 kbps (421.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 306 kbps (38.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 85 ms

Unfortunately not as fast as I would have liked, but decent speed and good reliability. Only problems when we have days on end rains or Telkom copper cables get stolen.

Well they do have a 3mb uncapped at R799 iirc.

yes,but since the adsl people getting more for less money, I would like something as well.... :D

speed increase for the same price would be "magic"

This is my best speedtest ive had so far, but I get very close to that speed at night. Those speeds are also not guaranteed and dependant on network load but speeds are generally kept at 3Mb up and down
