Wifi Hotspot key players

Howdy,

So the Boss wants me to compile him a list of the Big Players in WiFi Hotspots in this fair Country of ours.

Only problem is I have no idea of were to find this kind of Info. Do most Businesses(Restaurants & malls) provide their own WiFi Hotspots or do they get company's like IS's AlwaysOn to provide it for them?

And who are the "Big Boys" of Wifi Hotspots?

Any advice or any website that I can use as to find this info will be appreciated
