WiFi problems with POE device

Hi.

We have a wired + wireless network setup at one of our clients.

We are having problems with one of the WAPs (one of these guys), which is powered using POE. The device powers on and works fine for about 10 minutes, but then just suddenly dies. Trying to ping the device times out, and all the LED indicator lights on the device remain off.

In order to get the device back online, we simply unplug the network cable from the patch panel (at the network cabinet), and plug it in again. It then stays up for another 10 minutes, before repeating the cycle.

Any ideas as to what might be causing this problem? Could the device be faulty? There are another 2 such devices connected to the same cabinet and switch, also powered via POE, but these are working just fine.

A related problem we have, is that one of the desktop PCs connected via ethernet to the same cabinet and switch, has an unstable ethernet connection. The connection keeps flip flopping between on and off every 3 seconds (Windows reports "Network Cable Unplugged" followed by "Connected"). This doesn't happen all the time, but every once in a while.

Could these both be an electrical/voltage issue? Could the switch they are connected to be the problem, perhaps it is faulty? Both the cabinet (and hence the switch) and the desktop PC draw power from the same DB board, hence my suspicion that the problems are related.

Any ideas/suggestions/advice will be appreciated.
