wifi signal boost from cousins signal

hi, sorry if this has been asked and answered, I'm using my phone. my wife's cousin is allowing access to his wifi signal. the problem is that we live below his house so the signal is very bad. what can I get to get a better signal on my end. i Will mostly be using the signal on my Android phone. thanks

Below, as in downstairs? Or below as in somewhere further down the garden?

below as in below his house. there are basically 2 houses in the yard, his is a double storey and the wifi signal comes from his room. same yard, separate houses

Sounds like you need a wifi extender.

Hi There,
You will find a lot of posts on here about this.
Most of them will suggest that you run a cable from his router to yours as that is the most reliable and I would agree with them on that.
You could also look at using power extenders which plug into the the electrical supply. The only requirement there is that they must be on the same electrical circuit.
