Wikipedia may tighten editing rules

Reckon its a good idea actually. I know it will irritate the people who like the freedom of editing the wiki - but there are way too many people with too much free time on their hands who like nothing better than to screw things up for other people.

I know they're a minority - but it's impossible to keep monitoring hundreds of pages to look for vandalism, because in some cases it can be a single word.

will be a good thing. Maybe have a rule that people submit proposed articles or changes in a forum setting. When they have proved themselves, then they get editing rights.

This is a great idea. As shadowfox said, there are too many people with too much free time. This is especially true in school holidays and bored teenagers.

I remember that one of my friends changed our school logo to the swastika :sick::D
