The battery life can be improved. The "adaptive brightness" setting needs work, it is too dim in low light and too bright in medium lighting like indoors. The file manager can not handle ZIP files.

Lux Auto Brightness (R40 on the store) and ES File Explorer (free)

Thanks I use ES file Explorer but I would prefer that these bugs get resolve with the next firmware update.

Well the default brightness sensing being a bit weak seems to be a general problem plaguing a few phones (I bought the app for my Z3). So I'm not sure that will get fixed in a firmware update. And for the longest time Android didn't even have a default file manager so I wouldn't hold my breath there either.

I checked the Liteon light sensor with Driod info to get a realtime value and it looks very responsive. Gives a value from 0 (blanked off) to 50000 in direct sun light. So I can't see any reason why it cannot preform better.

On 20/11/2015 the Swift did get a firmware update and it contained a few interface changes and bug fixes including the auto brightness. Its seems ok now.

Hey all
I don't have a Wileyfox device. I have a One Plus One instead and I can say that Cyanogen has done a great job. Perhaps there have been a few issues, but for a startup I think they're doing quite well in terms of updates.

I don't think there have ever been a smart phone that didn't need a update. I had the Swift from the first firmware version and there have only been minor bugs, the important thing is to have frequent updates and longtime support, I think Cyanogen will do just that.

Still no problems but I have not yet received any updates this month. It looks like Cyanogen OS would be getting a big update next month that would include 13 and mods. I am not sure if I would like "mods" : it sounds like a lot of Microsoft bloatware incorporated into the OS!

Just received the Cyanogen OS 13.0 OTA update (ZNH0EAS2NH) for my Wileyfox Swift an hour ago and I'm just loving the notification drawer being split in two with added customization of the tiles to add or remove. Increasing ring volume also now has a "Start volume" and a "Ramp-up volume" time-frame in seconds. I'm using Deep Darkness (moelle) theme and most things are still themed correctly after the OS update. :D

Yes at last! But its definitely not all good news. I had some problems with apps that stopped working after the update. But after a factory reset and restore whose problems were resolved. A lot of people are complaining about sims not working or one sim working and one not. I am having problems swapping data connection between sims. First you must now select data for each sim individually and for some unknown reason you SMS sim will also change so make sure its right after the swap. I can swap between a and b but have to reboot when I swap from b to a. And you cannot disabled any of the sims any more.
