Wilgeheuwel/ littlefalls slow ADSL throughput

Ok from Thursday my throughput speed went down the drain.
4mb (checked and sync is 4096) line was downloading at about 1 to 0.5mb max and upload was maxing at 100kb or so
I thought it was my ISP that was throttling the hell out of me so I arranged a Mweb account, which was also incredibly slow
So I then got a Axxess uncapped account since I wanted decent speeds and it is also dog slow.
Is there a issue in the Wilgeheuwel area with the exchange that anyone knows about?

Same problem here in Wilgeheuwel. Since wednesday/thurday major packet loss and crap speeds. Logged a ticket with Web Africa and Telkom. I think there is an issue with Florin or Panorama exchanges.

POA exchange is congested, has been for some time now.

Well my line performed fine until Thursday last week.

The fault reference number with Telkom is not doing anything so far its still just in the open state

does anyone know where we can follow this up?

Called Telkom now for update and gave them my ref#
Their guys then says "Oh sorry nothing has been done on that reference number let me log a new one."
The guy then wanted to reset the port and found he can't connect to that DSLAM he is now going to arrange for their engineers to go out and check it.

Yeah stilll no update yet ref 9CRK120915. I have asked Web Africa to find out what going on. Going to lay a complaint against them with ICASA like I did last time to get this addressed if they dont get their act together by the end of this week

Well Telkom called me just now
They can now log into their DSLAM and have reset ports
We had a long power failure last night so I wonder if that might have effected it but they will call me tomorrow after I have had a chance to test it

speeds were allot better last night but still not full line speed at all
But upload speeds went down the drain again after 18:00

Yep it was dead to large extend because of the upload speed being nothing

Logged a complaint via ICASA.

Well I called Telkom this morning and they said it is currently with their technicians
I then officially requested that it be escalated to supervisor

If they do not fix it today then I will request it be escalated to manager
Once that is done I will also raise it with ICASA
