They told me there is nothing reported.
And I called them about hour ago for update

Just got this.
Dear customer, please note that Telkom has identified a network outage in your area. If your service is affected, you may report a fault by replying Yes to this message within 24 hours. If you are unable to reply within the first 24 hours, please call 10210 (Residential) or 10217 (Business). Telkom


So it took them 2 days to figure out that it is a network outage

I got this just now:
Telkom ADSL 011679****(ref 127ARK021117) restored. Reply to this SMS within 24 hours with NO if service is still faulty else with YES
But nothing is restored. Can someone tag the Telkom representative on myBB i dont know his handle?

My ADSL line still down over 24 hours now ref 115ARK021117 & 13CRK021117.

My adsl will be canceled 5 seconds after fibre is available and installed

And the wondrous people at telkom now want to claim that the fault for the area was fixed on Friday

They phoned me on Sat and I told them no it isn’t fixed. They also smsed me on Friday and I also responded no. Go on twitter and complain. Tag telkomza. I’ll do the same

Phoned them now, they still waiting for cable guys to go out and repair the stolen cables.

Because having multiple people go off line at exactly the same time does not mean they are linked

And he is correct
However if you have this many people go off at exactly the same time then it is definitely probable that their issue is linked.

Telkom the one company working hard to make sure that anyone who gets a chance to leave them will never come back

Cabling team is busy on side of the road at the moment
Seems to be nice guys trying to get it fixed
