... because not all of those protocols are always illegal.

Yes, most of them are ... but ...

Im sure torrents would get the lowest priority on most shapped uncapped accounts, its less to do with the content but more to do with the fact that it saturates the network, this is assuming that you are referring to shapping of torrents

As far as P2P shaping goes, the grass isn't always greener on the other side, hey. Except if you go for an unshaped package at the extra cost. Afrihost shapes P2P depending on network load, TI shapes P2P to death in peak times, etc.

Helping others not to make the same mistake :)....

That aside I for one will continue to pi$$ on MWEB until they either change their draconian policies or I get over it ... and nothing and nobody, no comments, no insults, no opinions will deter me from my mission. You may call me a die hard, or whatever ... but I will continue my mission!!

slightly OT, I have as of today put my weight behind the protest of MWEB's latest actions. This is a cause worth kicking up a stink about

I think more and more ISP's will eventually discriminate against using torrents or BitTorrent network as it creates so much strain on the network and saturates real time services. That may be the future or it may be the opposite seeing that torrents are useful and they may create separate account just for torrent downloaders but I doubt that :D :p Just my opinion guys
