William Shatner (Captain Kirk) rockets to space with Blue Origin

Oh gawd. Much as I am a fan of Shatner's Kirk, he's a bit of an ahole.

Zero sense of humour. And takes himself too seriously.
I fully expect a drama extravaganza - With some cheesy Scotty, Bones and Spock references.
Also he will probably wear a tight golden uniform. I shudder.

Completely missed it, didn't you.

Aptly described, just fitted that captain role very well back in the day, and I thought brilliant as Denny with mad cow in Boston Legal although they really overdid the drama in that.

Anybody seen his latest - "Senior Moment" (on DStv Box Office)?
Looks a bit too tame.
