but i guess wimax will give WISPs/ISPs a more level playing field if they can implement it. but then again regulation.

Not many people seem to know this, but WiMAX is already around up in Pretoria. Intel is running a pilot program there, I believe there's about 4 nodes. It's expected to roll out in SA early next year I think. If I were iburst or sentech, I'd worry.
