Pretty cheap for Telkom ... with the amount of methane they generate, they could keep a few of these things aloft for free.

Velly velly interesting, just wondering if info is available on how the airships would breakout & interconnect with external nets / internet...obviously a signal beamed back to earth, but what tech would be used for that...?

Telkom's version will probably be a hot air balloon used for ads & pics during sporting events. This to be followed later by a Remax Real Estate hot air balloon and as entry level gas filled party balloons, to conquer the bottom end of the market obviously. Power users on entry level package will get condoms instead, and pay a premium for the added safety features. Telkom will pirate the Sentech "It's time to fly" slogan and be sued.

This could be an excellent way for the SNO to rapidly roll out services to residential customers since they have no last mile infrastructure and they would not have to lease last mile infrastructure from Telkom.
