I have WiMAX and was given a Telkom ADSL Billion 400G router with WiFi. I am now connecting my WiMax directly into this unit as a switch for my LAN which works. I have activated the WiFi.

However, here comes the twist - The WiFi i can connect to but i cannot browse the internet though i can on normal WAN link.

Any ideas? The assumption is the WiFi are in the same network which shoould mean WiFi and RJ45 links should be the same. Any ideas how i can get WiFi connections to also connect. The main reason i want this is i have a media player that is working off the WIFI to enable content sharing and copying but it also has Internet Radio capability and download capability but I won't be able to use it if i can't connect to the internet via the wireless link.

Thanks in advance.

Hard to say without more info, but as a start I'd suggest doing a hard reset and starting from scratch. Who knows what weird settings the previous owner used.

Yeah tried that when i first turned it on. I am assuming it would require some sort of bridging? Anyways - thanks a ton for the response.
