They are doing amazing work in helping poor communities and the vunerable during these tough times. The way they responded to the devastating covid-19 pandemic by donations of food, medical supplies etc really inspired me .Their work in helping farmers during droughts across SA was outstanding.

Did work there for a bit and showed kids what I do and let them try out

Sometimes circumstances kick you down so hard you can't ever get up and I saw the consequences of that

MyBroadband is running a competition where you can win R2,000 cash.

To enter the competition, simply tell us in this thread which South African charity you would love to help out, and why?

Tell us, and everyone else, of the good work they are doing within South Africa and you could win.

The giveaway will end on Monday 04 October 2021, and standard competition rules apply.

The SPCA is the only one truly that is helping even in Lockdown hours to help abused, crippling and suffering animals, there are real good people out there... My nomination to the SPCA makes me proud to have our heritage, I would gladly help them if I had any means to

Rottweiler Rescue. Their belief is that Rottweilers, a breed with a negative stigma attached, deserve a second chance and their volunteers work tirelessly to responsibly rehome the many homeless and shelter Rottweilers in SA

Woodrock Animal Rescue. “We are a leading non-profit, pro-life, rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing shelter in South Africa. We have over 350 animals in our care at any given time.”

These animals are neither legible for SASSA grants nor government employees.

Chris Burger Petro Jackson Players' Fund

Anybody that played rugby at any level knows that a serious injury can change the quality of your life in a second.
It a great fund to support.

The Chris Burger Petro Jackson Players' Fund supports rugby players' in SA who have sustained serious and life-changing injuries on the field.

Locally - Save-a-pet. They don't get the same recognition as other animal rescue services but they do the best they can.

I vote for Gift Of The Givers. It is a well managed charity organisation aiding the needy in a deeply caring and responsible way in South Africa and even abroad in some cases. I dont mind supporting this truly humanitarian organisation knowing that the money will be well spent for the right cause.

I as Rick C-137 would like to help and support the The Umoya Project which is a community based project that focuses on multiple elderly, disabled, abandoned and sickly men and women in Khayelitsha. The project is a project of The Justice Desk- A Human Rights NPO. I vote for the Umoya Project. https://www.facebook.com/TheUmoyaProjectSA/?ref=page_internal
