Window 7 like vista?

I would like to know whether window 7 is like vista.. What I mean by that is the gamin requirments.. Like there is one for XP and one for Vista, So if I have window 7 will I have to look at vista's gamin requirements?

Win7 is like a patched Vista. So the requirements will be the same.
In some cases, games would perform better on win7. - in my experience

I see.. because my computer is not top.. so I guess I should stick to XP when gaming..

Gaming with Windows 7 will probably be a little better than Vista, though it may never quite reach the outright speed of XP. Then again, Vista and 7 offer DX11, which is going to move gaming forward again.

General UI and installation of Vista/7 is quicker and simpler I must say.

Yes, Vista has improved over the years. Depends on your PC setup as well.

Gaming with Windows 7 on the newer titles and hardware is far better, just my personall experience. Vista has gotten better but 7 is still preffered.

If you are still running older DX hardware and gaming titles, id rather stick to XP. Also dunno if creative have sorted out their problems with vista/7.

Yeah I realised that I can't play the games that I could on XP on window 7.. because I have street fight 4.. and it ran nicely on XP.. but went to window 7.. had to change the graphic options to make them lower..

Oh well I guess that means I have to focus on my work instead of playing games lol
