Been too busy to haul out the 1520 and check. Will do so later this evening.

What about Firmware update? My 1520 is running Preview 10586.164 no problem. No call recorder this requires new firmware. The update advisor states I have been upgraded.

It has arrived.

http://www.windowscentral.com/windows-10-mobile-over-air-update-older-lumia-phones-launching
but they are working with my mobile operator and phone manufacturer to make the upgrade available for my phone. I should see a notification when it's ready. Bummer.

Can anybody else check.

Just get the windows insider app, join fast/slow ring, update to windows 10, then drop back to production ring, phone will auto update if there is a newer version released in future.

Been reading a lot of bad battery life on the 920/930 with windows 10 though, so hard choice you got there :p

Install the Upgrade Advisor app and see if your device is eligible.

I did it on my Lumia 930 on Vodacom, and the app says my phone is eligible but they are working with my mobile operator and phone manufacturer to make the upgrade available for my phone. I should see a notification when it's ready. Bummer.

Just watch out for audio recording in videos on WM10.
I tried the release preview a couple of week ago and had no audio in any videos I recorded over that weekend.
Rolled back to WM8.1 and everything was working fine with audio recordings.

So now I'm waiting for somebody else to test yesterday's release too see if it is working on a 930 before upgrading again :D

Alright... gonna spam vodacom and hear what they say. If they don't come back with proper info I will do the preview rather and be the scape goat. I know the live build is .164 which i believe is the current preview build as well.

Hi there, we still waiting on our Procurement Team for confirmation. No ETA at this point in time.
So never. I'm gonna do the preview install shortly.

Hey, did they get back to you? Any idea when it will be released? Hate this waiting game with Vodacom as usual

I posted their response. "Hi there, we still waiting on our Procurement Team for confirmation. No ETA at this point in time."

Garson, if you had a checkbox I assume your update is ready to download then. What network are you on?

CellC. CellC were the only ones that provided the 730 IIRC.

After installing the Upgrade Advisor my 1520 finds the update and is now upgrading.

About to try the Insider Preview on L920 and L520.

So I finished my install of Win10M on my Lumia 930 via Insider, and even on build .107 i could record videos with sound.
I'm on .164 now, so will quit the insider program and move back to prod.
