What does this mean for me running a 3700x on an X570 mobo?

Amd asus b550 bios under advanced. Tpm setting there. Flipped it and now it says im good to go

I'm not aware of having TPM etc.
Most systems from the last 10 years have it. Issue is MS requires 2.0 vs 1.2 for whatever reason. Sure it makes booting slightly more secure but can't see why it should be a requirement.

TPM chip requirements, or is that something everything now has?
All Ryzen CPUs have an integrated fTPM.
All Intel chipsets that support Intel PTT have an integrated fTPM.

From my 5 minutes of checking, it seems like every Intel desktop motherboard since 2015 has Intel PTT. (H110 and higher)
As for pre-Ryzen CPUs or chipsets, I don't know which have a TPM.

So my computer says it doesn't detect a TPM device. I run a 5900x so I doubt it's a CPU problem. Don't see anything in my BIOS about it either. Fun times indeed!

I see there's a TPM socket on my motherboard but it doesn't have anything plugged into it currently.

What's the exact name of your motherboard? Ryzen 5600X has an fTPM. I doubt the 5900X doesn't.

I assume so.

So far I checked my home PC and laptop and my work laptop and they can all install Windows 11. On my home pc I had to go enable fTPM in the bios. Was in the advanced settings, hidden away a couple of menus deep.

EDIT: As of 26/06/21 Microsoft has edited the page below. TPM 2.0 is now a hard requirement.

@Hanno Labuschagne

Apparently TPM 2.0 is not a hard requirement. TPM 1.2 is, which will open up a lot more systems than previously thought.
