windows 7 x64 ultimate screen resolution bug?

hi all

recently ive noticed that sometimes after coming to my pc when the screen saver is on or when it is shutting down ive noticed that the resolution is not what it is supposed to be its supposed to be 1920 x 1080 my screen is a 2494hs samsung and running windows 7 x64 ultimate .. iam not sure what could be wrong.

Are you saying that you have the res set at 1920x1080, but it's being changed to a lower res - which res is it setting it to?
What graphics car do you have.

What is the native resolution for that monitor? 1920 x 1200?

hi thank for the reply ... yes i have set the res to 1920x1080 and it goes to a lower res but this only happens sometimes .. the native res is 1920x1080
iam running ati 4870's in crossfire with the latest drivers.
