Odd one this but I have seriously in all my time of using a PC heard of or used this so I'm looking for some feedback first. Anyway, an online game I play has had a micro freezing issue since it's last patch and after a few people complained about it, some dude posted a method of fixing it, this is it -

Do the windows run thing

Type cmd

Then type

netsh int ip reset reset.log netsh winsock reset catalog

Then I restarted. Game works fine now.

So question, is it all good to go ahead and do and does it matter if the OS is not legit at this time :whistling:

Depending on your OS, you might have to run cmd as Administrator. Right click on icon and select, run as administrator.

Say you are crippled and use accessibility features (which is a lie) and it will satisfy Devil. Just make sure to upgrade to Win10 Pro, as Home version is very heavy on your Internet. In other words legitimate Win7 Pro/Ultimate or with DAZ, then upgrade.

You can't choose which version you want to upgrade to, eg: Win 8 SL will upgrade to Win 10 SL and Win 7 32bit will upgrade to Win 10 32bit.

Which is why he says make sure you have a Win7 Pro/Ultimate installed when you start.

It seems I need to add more information in my posts in the future. My comment was just more information added to his post, with the following information taken as "obviously".

If someone has an illegal copy of Windows 7, they would need to buy Windows 7 Pro.
If you had to go and buy a legal copy of Windows 7 Pro, just so that you can upgrade, as per his recommendation, then you can just as well purchase Windows 10 Pro.

The idea behind the free upgrade, is to keep it free, so one would upgrade their current install to Windows 10. That said, this is where my post comes in. You can't make sure that you upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, as you cannot choose to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, it will upgrade to the equivalent version that you currently have installed.

The only thing that you have to make sure of, is to have a legal copy, before you start.

That's why he mentioned the loader to pirate it. If you have legit Win7 Home is east to use an upgrade assistant key and take it to Win7 Pro. They're freely available online.
