Same here. I get a error saying the service is temporarily unavailable. Started a few hours ago. Think it is a messenger problem as I am on ADSL and not vodacom

I actually got connected once (using the normal Vodacom AP). Haven't tried it on any other connection (though I know it is working on IS)

MSN Messenger often goes down for maintenance so just try later. Get yourself a GMAIL account and you can chat with your friends through that, it's fast, always works and does not have all the advertising stuff on MSN.

It's weird tho - you can't sign in to MSN using MSN Messenger, but third party progs seem to work fine. I've been online all day on my phone using agile messenger - but now that I'm home, I can't sign in with Windows Live Messenger. Grr.

this is very interesting. I can't sign in with AgileMessenger (on VC3G) from my phone, but using my phone as 3G modem I can sign into Live Messenger ...

Its a DNS problem. Should sort itself out as soon as record changes have propergated. Otherwise, ipconfig /refreshdns or point your DNS at a US based DNS service ;)

Maybe this might help... at least as a temp. fix...

when I can't sign into Live Messenger... I just go to...

http://www.ebuddy.com/

in my browser and am usually able to log in there... it's not a bad web interface.
