hhhm, also wanting to obtain a copy. Caus from the THG review, it seems pretty stable, so i might as well stuff around. Not playing any games. AFAIK, there hasn't been a public beta release yet, unlike Office 2007, which kinda sux.

Werner, I checked the link that you provided, and can't find any downloads there.

SA, yes I've played around with it.

Gets realy impressive when you dl all the add-ons, but you need the hardware to enjoy it.

I'm only running 2.8Ghz on a cheap mobo with 2Gigs of RAM and cheap 256M VGA card- waaaay under powered.

The dl is around 600 Megs (6 x 98 077KB) + about 1G for some add-ons.

Hardware should be at least decent mobo (dual core, hyperthreading, SATA, 800+ FSB, PCI Express, etc) with lotsa DDR2 RAM. (Don't know about 64 bit mobo's)

About the build - it is the latest

Keep Well

macPhallus, thx for the links.

Do u think a AthlonX2 3800+, 1GB DDR, 2x SATA RAID-0 HDD, 128MB GF6600 should be fine in term of specs?

And these "add-ons" that you refer to, any link to those?

Thanks...

IMO that'll be more than fine.

Vista's minimum is 800Mhz, 512Ram, and well even a normal ATA harddrive will work perfectly
