I am also seeing some weird things. Using FDM to download. Got to exactly 50% and it stopped. Now whenever I start it up again to continue, it will connect, start at about 300b/s and go down to zero. then nada, zip! I have to kill the FDM process to get out of it.

Maybe they moved the files, or it is very busy on that download site. The norm seems to be for the thing to stop at about 2Gb

Jeez ... what a bunch of suckers you lot are :).

So you are going to load Vista ... look at all the pretty eyecandy for about 5 minuts ... realize either your fav programs don't load or your machines suck at running it so badly that you eventually all go back to XP.

I can think of better things to pay Telkom for :).

You also forgot: Be FORCED to upgrade to a purchased version of Vista when the demo period expires, or the number of bugs drives you insane.

As long as I don't have to pay for the uncapped ADSL 1024, and the thing will just finish downloading!!

If you're using FDM, just try and add another download location (source).

Alcohol 120%

Not freeware but worth every cent. Dont even need a writer to use it, it creates a virtual drive for you to mount your iso and run it from the HD
