wireless connection problems

hi
I need help in setting a hp laptop to connect to 5102G router.
Iam able to connect to internet while pluged to lan. but when trying to go wireless I am unable to even see the router.
PLESE HELP !!!!

You will probably need to enable the wireless network. Log on to the router (book gives details) and make sure that wireless is enabled.

Strongly suggest that you set up WAP access and MAC checking.
