Hey guys

I'm new to the forum and a total noob when it comes to Internet related matters.

I have a Billion 400G ADSL Router connected to my desktop PC at home.

I would like to use the "wireless" feature to also access internet on my laptop at home.

Problem is, I haven't the slightest clue how to go about this. I would appreciate it if anyone could possibly aid me with step-by-step instructions on how to do this.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Regards :)

Hey spoon108,

Hope all is well.

1. Run the Utility software by launching it from the “Start>All programs>Billion
400G” menu.

2. The Billion 400G management utility will launch and immediately prompt you for a
router IP address and password. If you have not intentionally altered the IP
address of the router, it will still be 10.0.0.2, which is the factory default.
The password is the administration password that you might have changed
during the final step of the Easy Setup Wizard. If you have not changed it intentionally, it should still be “admin”.
Click the “OK” button.

3.On successfully contacting the router, the management utility main menu will
appear.Click on the “Manage Wireless Settings” icon on the utility main menu. The wireless management screen will
appear.

4.Ensure "Wireless Lan" . SSID can be changed to anything you like. Channel ID can be on either auto or channel 1.
Security mode must be enabled. WPA 1 shared key canbe changed to anything you like, please note it must be more than 8 characters.

5.Click on submit.

6.Enable your pc's wirless, search for the wireless network you named (SSID) and when asked for a password en the 8+ key you configured.

I hope this helps!
