Seat seems to believe in NCG and have brought out a Leon in NCG:I already found a source that supports my opinion, so, as is internet tradition, my opinion is now set in stone and will never change - technology can advance and stars can become blackholes, I will always believe natural gas is less efficient. /s
On a side note, a few links did show consumption as a drawback for natural gas. However, the energy density of natural gas is higher than gasoline, so in theory it should work? I suppose there hasn't been that much $ sunk into the research and optimisation.
That's how you defrost your windscreen quickly in winter. Only need it for 10 seconds tho. What idiot has the air conditioner and heater on at the same time?
so blowing hot air and cold air onto windscreen will defrost it quickly? That's how you defrost your windscreen quickly in winter. Only need it for 10 seconds tho.
yep. Don't ask why, but it works like magic. ( I think it's something about heater to heat the air and aircon to keep it dry - but I could be wrong. I just know it works.)so blowing hot air and cold air onto windscreen will defrost it quickly?
If you are stuck in terrible traffic and are stationary for more than 30 seconds, switch your engine off to reduce fuel consumption when it is safe to do so.
Yeah and poor battery starting your car everytimeUnless you have the start-stop function already configured form the factory don’t do this. You might be in for a treat to buy a new starter motor.
Cars that have the start-stop function have a different type of starter motor that is designed to survive many more start cycles.
Yeah, my old man killed the battery in his Duster doing this.Unless you have the start-stop function already configured form the factory don’t do this. You might be in for a treat to buy a new starter motor.

SEAT starts production of Leon 1.5 TGI | SEAT
SEAT starts production of the all-new SEAT Leon TGI. The natural gas version joins the compact vehicle’s line-up, expanding the range of powertrain options available, which includes petrol (TSI), diesel (TDI), mild-hybrid (eTSI), plug-in hybrid (e-HYBRID) and now compressed natural gas (TGI).www.seat.com
Quoted consumption is 3.9kg - 4.3kg per 100KM..
Wish the above cost for CNG was per kg and not per litre..
But you buy gas buy weight, not volume like petrol, so you'll calculate consumption in weight/km, not volume/km?Found this: https://www.aqua-calc.com/calculate/volume-to-weight
1litre = 0.13kg - so that would be 30-33.07liter per 100km? Sounds hectic?

I wish it were that simple as that online converter makes it seem..Found this: https://www.aqua-calc.com/calculate/volume-to-weight

Because you can compress a gas, the more you compress or pressurise it, the more gas you can fit in the same space.. then there are further fluctuations around temperature as well..
Liquid natural gas weighs around 0.43kg per litre from what I can find, so with compressed natural gas you'd be able to have a higher weight per litre..
Not all cars have thatLOL, modern cars these days have like a split system I think, for example if your passengers are getting cold (heater) and the driver is getting hot (aircon)..... then it is possible to have both on ?
It's idjitI don't have Matric you idiot
I did pass Standard 9 so I do know how to spell idiot you idiotIt's idjit
My car only has a 900c motor, aircon is fineMy car only has a 1300 engine
Always have to kill the AC when I floor it at 100km/h to overtake someone

Mine is 1300 and in permanent 4x4 mode, so drag on it is kak, especially with air con enabledMy car only has a 900c motor, aircon is fine![]()
