Hi guys and gals

Witpoortjie Fibre Initiative Website is LIVE.

We launched this initiative as most Fibre ISP's have no pland in the near future suburbs not in the highest income brackets. these suburbs still need the services though.

Please pledge here and Share it to everyone you know in Witpoortjie and surrounds

Went to a meeting Thursday 6/6/2019 and we should have fibre in 2 to 2.5 months.

Vumatel is coming to witpoortjie, rather invest your time and effort to register interest on the vumatel website as it's currently open

Would this by any chance include lindhaven?
Unfortunately not, vuma wants to see what the uptake in witpoortjie will be, if there is more than 80% uptake it will be easy to motivate for lindhaven. Also what would help is if everyone in lindhaven goes and registers their interest. the more people registers the better the changes will be that it will come sooner....

Are we still on track for the 2-2.5 month lead time, meaning sometime around late August/ early September?

Considering the fibre coverage map didn't update to say that are rolling out, and the map updated to say they are rolling out in Springs and Boksburg I highly doubt you'll see fibre in the next few months

So I’ve noticed that a few homes are live at the top of Trezona ave, even though on the site it still shows these homes as “show my interest”, i asked Vuma and they have my address under “pop completion step” not sure how long this takes however

I work with vox.. Can i qoute you.. We already taking orders as your site falls under work in progress

I looked at your package on the preorder page. It says that installation is free. Most Vumatel installations at other ISPs have a plus minus R1200 installation fee payable directly to Vumatel. I just want to confirm that if I go Vox that is included in your price. The upgrade to include uncapped voip to local and mobile. What are your rates for calling international or is that blocked completely? I don't see the option to include a voip device. Do I have to purchase my own or can I add a handset to my package?

I think that's all for now.

Yes, We just running a special on the free installation across all fibre providers. The uncapped voip is for local destinations and selected popular international destinations. If you want to call to any international destinations then you will be billed on a normal international rate. The uncapped account can be added on an app called Vobi or you can buy a Yealink device.
