Wow now how narrow-minded & bigoted can you be?
Lets take muslims in SA as an example...

Firstly, we did not come here to try and change the way the laws work, we were brought here by the trade companies many years ago, mostly against our will. I was born in SA, so were my parents and grand parents & great grand parents etc etc... So does that mean because I am muslim I don't have a right to have my religious rights respected?

Secondly, I may not be the most dedicated of followers, but I am muslim and I take acception to your comment that we all hate the west!

If you're gonna make an argument at least try to make a half-intelligent one instead of blatant hate speech.

I think you meant to say exception :)

No I am just sick of people coming into the country and then dictating to that country on how to riun things, it is not their country and have no right to tell them how to run it. There are rules and regulations and if you do not subscribe to those ideals then leave. Islam hates the west anyway so....

No it is what Wiki is saying ;)
78.4% of adults identified themselves as Christian
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States
Islam (0.6%), so maybe they should look elsewhere if they do not like the way things are run there?

You're referring to the American population's religious makeup then, not the American constitution? Got it.

That is an excellent way to put it in perspective. Westerners are supposed to follow the laws in Muslim countries, then surely it should be the other way around too.
We should now impose tax on only Muslims (Jizya tax) - Would also help them pay for our war on terror
We should not allow their prayer calls (they don't allow non-muslims to pray out loud, oh and it is already against all our other laws, noise pollution)
We should not allow them to keep or print Korans (firstly, this is also already against our laws, no similar book with such hate speech would ever be passed to print, oh and they do the same to with all non-muslms)
Oh, and soooo many other laws which we can still think about, i couldn't really fit it into my schedule to type them all, but here's a view of some: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=102376 (& Google: Dhimmi Laws)

In a democracy, majority rules so no I dont get it.

Hmm... I'm not following you. Are you saying that the United States' government is based on Christianity? Are you saying that the American government in is a Christian government, and that the United States was founded on Christian principals?

Or are you saying that the majority of Americans are Christian and they voted for the current government (many of whom in government happen to be Christian), but that the government itself is secular?

Not according to the core muslim beliefs...
A woman is meant to be covered from head to toe & only her husband may see her
Not true. It's not a core muslim belief. Or are most Turks not muslims?
In (muslim) Tunisia women are legally barred from wearing head coverings in state buildings. At various times female headcoverings in public have been banned in Morocco, Iran, and a whole host of other muslim countries. Until the 1980s, most urban muslim women in Egypt didn't wear any head covering, but today's it's widespread. Inside Islam there's an ongoing War of the Veil.

It's clearly a cultural thing. When in Rome... When in Washington ..., etc.

And you are a troll. Carry on troll boy
Shame am I getting under your skin?

Pretty sure you're the troll, actually.

Do you actually believe any of what you post on the forum, or do you do it just to stir up trouble?

You gonna answer my question, marine?
Ask a question and I will answer it if I can. If you want to try and start a fight then dont expect an answer.

So because a person doesn't believe what you want them to or follow a certain religion and is opposed to extremists, you consider that person a troll? I have every right to believe what I want, actually.
I fully support the law of that country and think the judge made a good call.
Oh and how am I stirring up trouble? Did I make the story up?

I don't understand your answer though - you keep saying that 78.4% of American adults are Christian. I'm not sure how this affects "how things are run" unless you're referring to the government somehow. That's why I keep asking you if you believe that the American government is a Christian government.
