Wordpress wrong password. help please.

Ok, installed it, done the basic, chose a password, medium to strong. Written it down. Probably wrong, tried different combinations of what the password might be, regular used phrase that I use and managed to get it wrong.
Tried to go in later, and "Incorrect password or mail address"!
How do I get out of that...uninstall, delete...

Do you have access to the Database?

Is this Cpanel do you have login details then I can help you

WP saves passwords in MD5 ???????????????????????????? :wtf::wtf:

Okay, I see that WP does not use vanilla MD5 when saving passwords - it's almost like a fallback mechanism for when you have access to the database and need to change your password. When WP detects the MD5 hash, it re-hashes using a more secure hashing method (multiple passes through MD5). Unfortunately, anyone who gains access to your DB could potentially change it.
