since you left in 1988, you would have no problem landing a great position, yet you work in a low level sales position

I know many people who were educated after 1994 who have landed great jobs in the UK, USA and aus - so maybe your low level sales position is not because of SA but because of yourself

just a few issues that may have been left out of the articles published in SA, this is from the Norwich Union Press release on the survey

The majority of holidays go off without a hitch, but we would advise everyone to take the same precautions abroad as they would here. It’s very easy to forget simple security measures when you’re lying in the sun with a cocktail in your hand.

While Norwich Union investigated claims from lost belongings to theft, gastric problems to sun exposure, the biggest cause of problems when abroad is unforeseen medical emergencies

I have no idea, I was asking how many inventions were by African people (of African origins) .. I would like someone to please correct my misconcepton.

yes while these people were inventing they were living in a priveledged society, while "original Africans" were denied education, opportunity and any basic rights

BTW - Hamilton Naki - a black man - very competently assisted Christiaan Barnard in the heart transplant - I wonder how many other inventions were done on the back of competent blacks who had to be labelled garderners

also remember - the first astronomers were black africans, the first to travel the seas were the Chinese, the Arabs/Indians invented/created the decimal system - the abacus was invented by the Chinese - Sanskrit is one of the oldest refined languages in the world - and much much more

So... there are no documented inventions by africans? I refuse to believe that! Dont confuse 'EDUCATED' with inventions. Many inventors are un-educated.

The biggest problem is that "Original Africans in Africa" didn't write anything down, if they have please correct me, and so, it's very difficult to proof or disproof they invented anything before the colonist arrived in Africa. They had the spear and shield, but if that was an African invention as such can be disputed. I'm not an expert, so I really can't think of anything else. Anybody with more info?

Africans invented language, fire, clothing, farming and probably sports. Nuff said.
Who invented what arguments are pointless.
What has this got to do with tourists though?(I'm to lazy to look back through the posts)
