Agreed. The questing part I love the most. Two favorite areas are Deepholm (mostly for the stunning background ambient music) and Sholazaar Basin, such a beautiful area and fun quests to do.
Was stuck in a cave doing Highmountain quests for like 30mins last night. So sick of caves in this expansion!

Oh god, more caves. I have a Draenei. The starting area is Azuremyst Isle and on it there is this nasty bit of cave network called Stillpine Hold which you have many quests to do in there.

The Night Elf starting area Shadowglen also has cave with little demons in it.

I think all of this is Blizzard's way of telling you, no warning you, that spelunking is in your not too distant gaming future.

But wait! There's more! You get to the end of the cave to kill the mob that ends the 5+ sub quests you just completed, and just above his head, on a ledge, is a chest full of delicious AP. How do you get there, you ask? You have to go all the way back to the entrance of the cave and take a right instead of a left then proceed to the area where the miniboss was. Only problem is every single mob you killed on the way has now respawned and, and...

TL;DR:

Dear Blizzard,

**** caves.

Sincerely,

Everyone

So decided that I'd do the grind for flying in Legion before levelling any alts. I'm currently doing the Suramar part of Loremaster and only halfway through, and it's already doing my head in. My logic is that once I've completed all the other bits I can focus on the rep grind only. Taking a while though lol

Hey guys,

Have not posted in a bit. Hows everyone doing?

Tired of NH and keen for ToS to come out like me?
Well except for the fact that by the PTR and testing they seem to be butchering my class/spec a bit, but lets hope for the best :D

Hey guys. I activated my account again on saturday and started with legion. Now level 103. What do you do to make gold? I went fishing and mining and got some gold. Had to do some reading on the whole artifact concept

Hehe no, as I said I'm way more casual since returning to the game. Got some old players/friends together and just doing things at our pace, not pushing or rushing to anything but enjoying the game.

Did get Xavius Mythic cutting edge and Helya Mythic cutting edge but will not be getting to Guldan before ToS as we only at 7/10M atm

Hows things going your side?

I just play the game and have no gold issues.
If I really need some I can just play the AH for a bit

Gold is easy just do world quests and get your champions to max no need to really farm gold but if you must herbing is quite good for gold. I'm just grinding mythic dungeons and farming ap haven't did much raiding besides lfr

Agree, I don't particularly enjoy the gold farming / AH playing side of things at all and have more gold than I can spend at the moment. Of course if you're the kind of person that goes big on vanity items or mounts then it's a different story.

Get decent items on your bodyguard follower and you're pulling in 100g extra per world (daily) quest, nevermind the 2000g+ you get from a successful gold reward order hall quest. Easy game.

Also with the price of WoW tokens through the roof due to the impending addition of Destiny to the Battle.net client you can essentially buy over 200k gold legitimately for 20EUR, if you are that way inclined.

Slowly getting through Legion now that I finally have a decent PC. It seems a bit scattered sometimes - I kind of missed the old questing where you pretty much started on one end of a zone, and finished on the other, before moving onto the next one. Now you can kind of go where ever you want and everything just scales accordingly. Still so much to get used to (had to basically relearn the game and it's mechanics lol), but it does feel a lot better than recent expansions. My Hunter is 107, so almost there, and then I guess the real fun begins.

Edit: another cool feature is the app. Sit at work and just keep sending my minions off on missions, then collect on all their hard work when I get home and log in.

I enjoyed the legion quests to get to 110. The next time around, not so much.

Although I've been levelling alts like a puppymill using legion invasions. 1x 20min run a day per char yielded me roughly 80% of a level. 4 of my 7 lvl 110s were levelled from 100-110 exclusively via invasions, so pretty much 2-3hrs play time. The downside being you don't have ANY order hall or artifact quests done and your gear ilvl is still at 700.

Holding off on levelling any alts until I have flying. 3 Suramar quest lines (can only unlock as my rep goes up), 73/100 world quests, and then the rep grind left. I spend most of my time outside of Emissary quests on Broken Shore so Part 2 will take care of itself. Unlike WoD there's no rep catch-up mechanic like Medallion of the Legion (yet), so it's just going to take time. I also don't think the levelling quests/zones will be as fun the next few times, so flying is a must - get in, get it done, fly off, rinse, repeat. Oh, and I'll definitely avoid anything with a cave - then again there'll be no need to complete every single quest chain again as I already (mostly) have the achievements on my hunter now.

for HPriest, Mastery -> Crit -> Haste so you on the right track, BUT at that ilvl just go for gear upgrades.

Ie just do some invasions, get shards and buy the 400 shard tokens to get 855+ in every slot.

Ice Veins guide is a decent place for info: https://www.icy-veins.com/wow/holy-priest-pve-healing-stat-priority
Also the Priest discord is very helpful: https://www.icy-veins.com/forums/topic/16114-class-discord-channels/

Thank-you Snowar. I've just started doing HC's so hoping to get some decent gear. I'll check out those links.

Much appreciated.

It's a big pleasure bud. I do find current Holy Priest to be fun myself.

But as I said above, go do your Invasions and your world quests on the Broken Shore. From there you will get more than enough Nethershards that you can use as a start to buy Dauntless items from Warmage Kath'leen on the Broken Shore. They cost only 400 Shards each and it will get you an item with a minimum level of 855 for each slot.

It helps as your other world quests then also drop higher gear!

Don't forget to check out the LFR options. Using Snowar's advice you can get 850 gear quick enough to get yourself into Nighthold LFRs within a few hours of dinging 110. This drops better loot too.

OH! and always check out the map for your weekly world bosses, which you can just join with randoms with or without raids, as long as you get 1 hit in. I've gotten 920 gear dropping from them and there's always a chance to drop a legendary for you.

I did levitate and drop down onto Broken Shore. There were no quests except one I found under the water and now have to take the item to King Anduin. I think for now I will hold off on the Heroics and go and follow up on what you guys have said. This is my first character to get to 110 so pretty much fumbling my way through, so your advice is incredibly helpful.

Found this. I might be on this already; perhaps the first part, it does ring a bell. I'll have to check when I get home.

Chat to Dadghar at Dalaran's flight point, he should have a quest that sends you to the broken shore, which will unlock everything there for you.

Feel free to add us on our battletags if you want some advice or help in game.
