Rokhala Tradesman mansion build :D Now I can craft packs when I want and not when others are available.
Now just need to go drop a loading zone near the coast or use Thateos's then we can trade some packs for charcoal ;)

You are not really behind. Think for gear, we are pretty much on par I have around 3k GS. And we went different directions for our gold making. Similar to you I can only play for short periods at a time, so need to maximise gold gain per hour spend. I have to cut down on a lot of nation/guild activities as I don't really see the point in doing some of them (part from having fun).

On that: What is the Luscas rewards? Gilda is kind of pointless to me, and the gear drops seems non existent, still people even build boats to do it....
The world bosses is also only for the Gilda?
Would farming for gear and gear mats not be better time spend? Would like to make some Ayenad gear sometime or am I missing something?

Well what is the point of the game? I guess each person has their own objective. Luscas can be for a gilda and guild prestige / honour (I think) which can be used to buy gems from the prestige store. World bosses the same. I chatted to Oggly about spending my honour last night and he said I must save it for gems for gear.

On that note, I build my merch tonight although I will have to save some cash for regrades and upgrades.

Put it that way, you are right. Each person have their own objective, and things they do to have fun.
I enjoy the game for it's sandbox nature where there are multiple paths to get to something. The economic side of the game fascinate me more than the pvp at this stage (probably because I am extremely easy to kill still ;) ).
Gearing up thus have a great appeal to me as well, not sure yet on all the PVE content.

After last nights PvP I am seriously considering respeccing to healer seeing as you are the only healer around. I've always healed in mmo's and playing a pure DeePeeEss is not really my style.

Gearing up seems to be a matter of gold. I think one could get quite high just making cash and buying mats off the AH.

Having said that, we need to try and get to 4k+ to be less squishy.

Morning DUDES!

After last nights little ego ranting, I decided that I am going to potato for a while until I get better gear.

The 3 man luscas sounds like a good idea though. Keep it small and fun.

So I built my Merchant Schooner. Sweet having a 20 pack carrying capacity but some things I learned doing my first trade run.

1) You cannot have your wagon and your ship out. So this is the real bummer as my biggest wagon is on the same character as my schooner and transporting from place of manufacture to boat is now a problem
2) Do not stray too far from your boat. I went back to make more packs and left an alt at the wheel to prevent a ship jacking. When I got back, the boat was gone, packs and alt were in the water.
3) It's slow, but with upgrades it will be better. It beats running multiple wagons on a laggy connection.

All in all, I moved a load of packs from sunbite to lutesong at around 11g a pack. It took 25mins which should get faster as I upgrade the boat.

I'll move some packs to Solz for charcoal in a day or two. Worth the build? For sure!

So seems I should build my speedboat on my alt then :) or just build two.

What server are you guys playing on these days? The EU Prophecy server had seen a sharp decline in players. I just hope the server population does not drop too much more.

To be honest here, Rangora has very few active people. Personally I'd say that Tempest seems to muster around 10 people for raids, AEON occasionally gets some numbers going and then a few from Angels of Destiny. We usually just combine ourselves and do Luscas, Abyssal, Fort and bunker.

Having said that, besides Cores Eoan, we wipe the reds 90% of the time during naval battles. You will often see 4 red warships and a bunch of red clippers / speedboats on radar and only us on the opposite faction.

The rest of the server seems to potato more than anything else.
