Ok cool, I am with Firstier ISDN. Get a ping of about 80 in BF2...

And I am getting the Eu version now, so would there be any difference in timings and latency?

I'm a lvl 50 Druid (NE) on the Gilneas realm - US version. Name: Lucieno

I like playing with the yanks, they're generally friendlier than the Europeans and they all speak english :p

Ping times vary between 500 - 800 on my shaped ADSL and between 380 - 700 on unshaped. Unshaped is a waste of money, because it is isn't really unshaped as far as I can see.

Ok, for the last time. There is no ZA server, there will be no ZA server!
You either play on EU or US servers. Do a forum search and you will find the answer why not.

I think joshua was referring to the illegal free servers, so before crapping your panties, read... comprehend.. understand... THEN crap your panties

I finally bought a copy of WoW the other day. Unfortunately, I am not all that pleased with it. I used a guest key to create my account, so the CDKey is still unused/unlinked to an account.

If anybody in Joburg (pref north/west rand since i loathe the post office) wants to take this off me for +- R150, let me know. Either I'll drop it off, or you can pick it up.... last resort = Post Office :)

Its a CD version, not DVD, if it makes any difference - Discs were only used one time each to install the game. No game time cards. I could also provide the 1.12 patch if you like.

Hi

Adsl is slower then ISDN when playing WoW because its shaped, when playing on an unshaped ADSL line I get a latency of around 300 and experience no packet loss what so ever

Hi

Yes, WoW pretty much seems to download at a constant rate of 1 or 2 kbs, just make sure there is no packet loss on your line.
