Good day all,
I currently have a Duoplus 300WR router (I know...). I bought the Totolink N300UA Wireless USB adaptor (802.11n able) to use since I'm approximately 30 metres (and 4 walls) from the router. I'm quite astonished that I'm able to a receive 2 bar signal.
The problem is with the consistency of my connection. It would be fine for a few days (32 - 54mbps) and all of a sudden won't work unless I move the USB adaptor a half a millimetre
, which only works most of the times.
I can download consistently at 104kb/s (when all is good) but as soon as I game online it will disconnect sporadically and my speed will fluctuate between 1mbps - 54mbps.
If I upgraded to a 802.11n router would my connection speed be more consistent and possibly increase the download speed?
Thanks
