I've got the option to buy this laptop for R8000 and was wondering if I should take it. It's about a year old and I used it at work.

Dell Latitude 6530. 8GB Ram. 500GB Drive. i7-3520M. 1080p Display
Docking Station
Laptop Bag

I think the retail is about R15k for a new one.

Edit. I will be using it for work purely as a backup to my desktop should it fail. No games.

Would be a good work laptop. But for gaming it's nowhere close. So, no... I won't buy it since I have a decent work laptop already :) And I game on PC. If it was an Alienware or MSI Gaming laptop, then it will be another story.

Absolute bargain, new one's sells for more like R17 500 and you should still have about 2 years on NBD warranty. I replaced my HDD with an SSD when I bought it, strongly suggest that.

Dell laptops have been very good in my experience, very stable, works well.
Play some older games on them but most use them for work.
